Police officers were shot at on Vincent Tshabalala Road (previously London Road) on 14 November.
According to @crimeairnetwork, police officers were trying to stop a silver BMW when occupants of the vehicle opened fire on them.
The spokesperson for the Alexandra Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang, could not comment on the incident as he was in a meeting and asked Alex News to call him back later.
It is still unclear if anyone was injured.
