Calling all entrepreneurs to showcase at global expo at Alex Mall
ALEXANDRA – Local entrepreneurs are invited to showcase their products at expo.
The Greater Alexandra Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Galxcoc) will take part in Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) by hosting one of Alex’s first exhibition expos.
The expo will be held from 17 to 19 November at Alex Mall.

Sihle Mlambo, youth and project coordinator for Galxcoc, said GEW was a motivational event which enabled every country to align a varied collection of players, programmes and information to better support entrepreneurship.
“Alignment helps to streamline efforts, minimise competition among those with limited resources and maximise impact,” Mlambo said.
He said other organisations were approached to take part in the expo, but no response was received.
Mlambo urged residents to come and experience the expo as it would boost the entrepreneurship market in the community.

Registration for exhibitors will close on 16 November, but Mlambo said that not everyone who registers would be able to exhibit their products at the expo. “This is because we do not want a lot of people showcasing the same products, we want to have a variety.”
