Suspect in attempted murder sought by Alex police

ALEXANDRA – Police investigate the attempted murder of six women.

Alex police are investigating the alleged murder attempt on six women by a man who was looking for his girlfriend.

Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred at about 11pm on 24 September at one of the victim’s 5th Avenue residence.

The girlfriend went to the home where the other women were and after sometime, the suspect also turned up asking for her. When they told him that she was not there, even though she was in one of the rooms, the suspect went outside. The victims then told the girlfriend and when she went to him, he allegedly beat her and left.

After a while, the suspect returned armed and again asked for his girlfriend. When they told him that she went with him, he allegedly insulted them and fired shots which hit the door.

No arrest has been as yet.
