A man living on 8th Avenue has laid charges of domestic and emotional abuse with the Alex police against his wife.
Police spokesperson captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred at their home at 6pm on 18 August.
The victim alleged that she used a bottle to hit him on the forehead, damaged his vehicle by pouring sugar in its fuel tank and also the interior of their house, and poured flour and sand on his clothes she had placed on a bed. This was after allegedly threatening to destroy him emotionally and physically for reasons which were not specified.
