Alex police are investigating a case of robbery after two female suspects allegedly robbed a woman at 4.45pm on 21 July at Alex Mall.
Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the suspects allegedly knocked the complainant with a trolley as she was walking in the mall. The suspects are said to have apologised to the victim but then one of them attacked her while the other searched her pockets and took about R1 000 in cash.
A security guard intervened and separated them. The suspects left the scene and drove off in a vehicle parked outside.
