An Ivory Park couple had their bail extended by Alex Magistrates’ Court on 20 July for the alleged possession of a reported stolen motor vehicle.
They will reappear before Magistrate Renier Boshoff on 27 July for further hearing.
At the time of their arrest on 7 June, the female suspect worked at the recovered motor vehicle storage facility of the South African Police Service in Aeroton.
They were stopped by police on patrol in Sunninghill while allegedly driving in an old Mazda 323 which was reported stolen in Norkem Park, East Rand in September last year. The vehicle had a false license disc and which was taken to a pound.
