The defence for the terror accused twins, Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee Thulsie, requested a postponement in the matter in order to obtain a special software to be able to open dockets that were sent digitally to them by the State.
The two brothers appeared briefly in Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court on 5 July.
Defence counsel, Anneline Van den Heever told Magistrate Simon Radasi that they were unable to open the docket that the State sent to them as it requested special software.
The docket is believed contain 22 000 pages.

State Prosecutor, Advocate Adele Barnard said she only received an email from the defence informing her that they could not open the docket on the morning of the court appearance. It is not clear as to when the docket was originally sent to the defence.
The duo were arrested on 9 July last year by the Hawks during anti-terror raids which took place in Newclare and Azaadville and have been in custody since then.
The twin brothers had allegedly planned to blow up the US Embassy and Jewish institutions in Gauteng.
The case was postponed to 11 July.
