Woman beaten for alleged infidelity

ALEXANDRA – Group beats woman, claiming she slept with their men.

An Alex woman who was allegedly assaulted by a group of women who accused her of having affairs with their husbands is lucky to be alive.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Allie Kodisang said they were investigating the incident which occurred at about 10pm on 11 February on 14th Avenue.

The group allegedly intercepted and assaulted the victim as she walked back home after accompanying her uncle to a taxi. They accused her of infidelity.

She sustained severe injuries but still managed to escape while a hail of stones rained down on her.
