A driver and his passenger were allegedly robbed at knifepoint by men travelling in a minibus after their car bumped into the Toyota HiAce when it stopped abruptly at a green robot at the intersection of Watt Avenue and 3rd Street in Wynberg.

The occupants of the HiAce searched the victims’ vehicle, out of which they took items including an Apple MacBook, a Lenovo notebook, an Apple iPhone and a camp chair, all valued at R44 500. They also stole the victims’ wallets, which had bank cards and driver’s licences in them. The four men sped off in the HiAce after robbing them.
