Men wanted for robbing ‘friend’s’ place

ALEXANDRA – Suspects claim to be looking for victim's brother and then rob the victim.

Two suspects, one of whom is known to the victim, are wanted by Alex police for a house robbery that occurred on 13th Avenue at about 3.45pm on 22 January.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Allie Kodisang said one of the suspects knocked on the victim’s front door and claimed the victim’s brother was expecting him. When he was told the brother was not home, the suspect insisted that the victim open the door, which he did. The suspect allegedly forced his way into the house, took out a gun, and threatened the victim with it.
