Women drug their male victims

ALEXANDRA – Female suspects drug men before disappearing with their property and vehicle.

A Diepsloot man’s motor vehicle and other personal items were stolen after he had allegedly been drugged by a female suspect.

Alex police spokesperson, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred in the early morning of 7 November at the victim’s friend’s home on 12th Avenue.

Kodisang said the victim went to a club with his friend to have drinks. When they left the club at 2.30am, the friend asked him to give a lift to two women, who were also at the club, to their home in Kelvin. The victim who doesn’t drink alcohol, drove to the friend’s place and on the way the suspect gave him a soft drink saying she had had enough of it.

At the friend’s house, the suspect asked to use a toilet while her colleague remained in the vehicle. The victim also went into the house with the friend and the suspect, While in the house, he started feeling dizzy and subsequently passed out. He was awakened at about 4am by his friend screaming about a missing microwave and fan. The friend had also allegedly been drugged. When they checked, the women were gone together with the vehicle in which were the victim’s Samsung cellphone, sunglasses and R400 in cash. All items including the household property were valued at R101 000.
