Man killed during road argument

ALEXANDRA – Road rage turns fatal.

An Eastbank motorist was declared dead on arrival at the Alex Clinic on 30 October after sustaining stab wounds from an altercation with another motorist.

The suspect is still wanted by the police.

Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang, said the victim, identified by friends as Bubu Shibambo, sustained wounds to his left shoulder and multiple wounds to his back.

It was said the victim had been driving a Ford Bantam on the corner of 5th and Richard Baloyi Brandt avenues with two friends in the evening when he got into an argument with another motorist driving in a white WV Golf. The suspect allegedly got out of his vehicle and stabbed the deceased several times before driving off.

It was not specified if the victim was stabbed while inside his vehicle.
