A suspect charged with malicious damage to property will know his fate when a police investigation is completed.
This, after he broke the rear window of a parked vehicle during a fight with another man in Alex at about midday on 5 September this year. The suspect has not been arrested.
Alex Police Station spokesperson, Captain Allie Kodisang said the suspect threw a brick at his adversary but missed and the projectile hit and smashed the vehicle’s rear window. The owner, who was in the vehicle at the time, confronted the suspect who allegedly told him not to ask him about the damage as he wanted to kill the man he was fighting with.
The damage to the vehicle was estimated at R4 000.
