ALEXANDRA - Suspect rapes neighbour in her home.

Picture caption is incompletA resident of 16th Avenue is under police investigation for the alleged rape of a neighbour who lives on the same premises.

Alex Police Station spokesperson, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred on the morning of 9 September after the suspect, who was wearing a gown, went to the victim’s house and forced her younger siblings to get out.

After locking himself inside the house with the victim, the suspect allegedly took out a cellphone and money which he told the victim she could have if she wanted. The victim refused the offer and the suspect allegedly forcefully undressed her before he also removed his gown.

When she screamed, he allegedly threatened to kill her before raping her without a condom. When he was done raping her, he told her not to dress and wiped her private parts with a cloth covered in an unidentified gel-like substance. After he left, she informed a friend who assisted her to report it to the police.No arrest has been confirmed and the case continues.
