A Katlhehong man (35) was granted R2 000 bail by the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court pending a further court appearance for an alleged sexual assault of a female work colleague.
The accused, a security guard, was on duty with a supervisor and the 74-year-old female colleague on the night of the incident at a company in Glen Austin, Midrand.
The supervisor was said to have gone to a backroom to prepare food. The accused allegedly put his hands between his colleague’s legs and when she asked what he was doing he apparently said nothing, unzipped his trousers and started masturbating in front of the complainant.
The woman informed the supervisor and the police were called and arrested him. He will be back in court on 23 June.
