Uplifting South Africa one photo at a time

JOHANNESBURG – Fourways resident, Christopher Rory Page launches One Day In Time, a South African national photographic campaign and competition.

Thanks to Nelson Mandela’s former personal assistant, Zelda la Grange’s book Good Morning, Mr Mandela an uplifting Mandela Day Photo Competition called One Day in Time has been launched.

The competition is the brainchild of triple-published and internationally-renowned author, speaker and Fourways resident, Christopher Rory Page, and will be open until 18 July.

Janie Erasmus, campaign patron and Miss Deaf SA said, “A photo says a thousand words.”

Page added, “The photo competition is uplifting the country in a positive way with more Madiba Magic for more than a day.”

He explained that, in short, the One Day in Time competition gave the public a chance to have their inspirational photographs chosen and accredited by an extensive panel of celebrity judges for the One Day In Time photo coffee table book which will be published online later this year.

The panel of judges include A-list celebrity judges including Miss South Africa 2016, Nthando Kunene; Mr South Africa 2016, Armand du Plessis; Mr South Africa 2016, first runner-up Morne Marais; Mr Commonwealth SA 2016, Trevor Xaba; and SA Bachelor of the Year 2016, Wayne Stafford; the new Miss South Africa, Nthando Kunene; Carte Blanche presenter, Derek Watts; and La Grange herself.

Also behind the cause is Random Acts of Kindness hot jock Brent Lindeque, also known as CliffCentral’s Good Things Guy.
