The Alex Magistrates’ Court granted bail to a man accused of a murder he allegedly committed last year in Alex together with an accomplice who is still at large.

The accused will appear in court after the investigation is completed.

The court heard that the two men allegedly shot a man at a 16th Avenue tavern at about midnight on 1 August. The man later died in hospital.
