Alexandrians, check your lotto tickets!

The Alex resident who hit the mega Lotto jackpot of R20 million on 30 January has not come forward to claim his or her windfall.

National lottery operator, Ithuba said although the resident had not come forward, he or she had 365 days from the date of he draw to claim their prize.

“We’re sure he or she will be contacting us in due course, or it could be the person that won is still in the dark about his or her winnings. We urge all players to regularly check the winning numbers available on our draw shows, many newspapers nationally, our website [www.nationallottery.co.za] or call the player helpline on 0800 484 822,” Ithuba public relations and events manager, Zukiswa Nomnganga said.
