Three little bundles of joy at Netcare Park Lane

PARKTOWN - Netcare Park Lane welcomed three Christmas babies.

 

Three was a charm for Netcare Park Lane’s Maternity Ward on Christmas Day as they welcomed three newborn girls. All three baby girls were born in the day and are all happy and healthy.

The first born was baby Tshepang Tsumane at 5.22am, weighing 3.4kg. “I am very tired but feeling very excited at the same time, I was originally due for a caesarean on the 28th, but I am glad I have a Christmas baby,” said mummy Dinah Tsumane. Baby Tsumane has a sister that is 12 years old and a brother of 6 with another sister of 11 months.

Second to be born at the hospital was baby Celyne Buthelezi  at 6.11am, weighing 2.9kg  and a height of 48 cm to mummy Lynnette Buthelez. “I have been in labour since last Saturday, so I am so happy that she is here and she decided to come on Christmas day,” explained mum Buthelezi. Baby has one sister that is 11 years old.

Sister Hilda Litlhakanyane who was on call for the hospital expressed that welcoming the three babies on Christmas Day was a great joy. “We are so happy to have them, they are a gift from god, just like Christ is a gift to us.”’

Baby Azra Jappi was born at 12pm to mummy Saamya Jappi. Baby weighs 3.66kg and is the third born in her family. She has a sister who is four and a brother of three.” I am so excited and happy. Baby is healthy and she is sweet- a real mommy’s girl and such a blessing.”
