The iconic venue, Constitution Hill is launching a new market, just in time for the holidays. Unlike other markets which sell goods, this market will have a different approach. Visitors will take part in a number of activities and get the chance to experience the goods on offer. There will be food and wine tastings, natural hair care demonstrations, make-up lessons, fashion styling booths, live cooking shows and more.

Brightwater Commons is going all out this year with a weekend filled with festive fun. There’ll be the turning on of the Brightwater Christmas tree and the arrival of Santa Claus, a market packed with food, arts, crafts and gifting ideas. The evenings will be filled with song as people unite for the annual Carols by Candlelight – in English and Afrikaans; and to top it all off, there will be classic Christmas films screened during the evenings.

Woodrock Animal Rescue will be hosting a family fun day and even the furry folk are invited. Socialise your pups (on a lead of course) while soaking up the sun, listening to live music and chowing down on treats from Ouma’s Kitchen. There’ll be a hula hoop competition for the kids and raffle tickets on sale and you’ll even get the chance to have your four-legged family members micro-chipped for R120.
