Two people were found shot dead in a vehicle on the corner of Seychelles Street and Madagascar Road in Tsutsumani.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, a silver VW Polo was found on the side of the road with the body of a man and a woman inside.
The male was in the driver’s seat and had a bullet wound in the back of his head.
“There was a woman in the passenger’s seat with a bullet wound in the back of her head,” said Maphakela.

“On the backseat of the car there were two cartridges and one projectile on the front passenger seat where the woman was.”
Maphakela said the motive for the shooting was not yet known. It seemed that the shooter was inside the car sitting in the back. The deceased were still holding their cellphones.
Maphakela said police were appealing to anyone in the community with information regarding this incident to come forward to the Alex Police Station to assist the police in their investigations.
