An Alex man awaits court judgement for allegedly raping his three daughters.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Manare Ramotshela, said the man was arrested after police received a tip-off from a member of the public.
This after the suspect’s 15-year-old daughter had disclosed information to a community member that the father had allegedly raped her on several occasions from 2011 until June this year.
She also alleged that before, he had raped her elder sister who tried to commit suicide from the trauma of her experience. The sister is said to now be staying with their mother in Venda.
The girl is also said to have disclosed that in May this year, she allegedly found her father raping the third who is her younger sister. When she told him not to, he got angry and allegedly assaulted her.
Ramotshela wasn’t certain if the victims had been referred to social workers for further referral to a place of safety.
