This after a man from Soshanguve in Pretoria was arrested following a tip-off from the community.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Manare Ramotshela said the man, who was wanted by Soshanguve police for the theft of an undisclosed amount of money, sought refuge in Alexandra.
It is alleged that he stole money from his former workplace which he claimed was owing to him.
Ramotshela said the suspect was handed over to Soshanguve police.
