What’s up with Karl Ahari?

JOBURG – Celebrity, socialite and face of Kalahari.com, Karl Ahari seems to have faded from the limelight a bit since the merging of Kalarahi.com and Takealot.com.

THE HOMELESS LOOK: The star was spotted eating cereal on a park bench while wearing his bathrobe.

Apparently, he recently had his heart broken by a woman and he’s not taking it very well.

The magician, famed for appearing out of nowhere in the rib-tickling Kalahari adverts, was recently spotted in Sea Point, Cape Town, decked out in his bathrobe and apparently attacking happy couples.

“I just came here to eat my cereal, I didn’t come here to see how good your life is,” Ahari reportedly yelled, later throwing tantrums and even shoes at couples on Sea Point promenade. According to an inside source, Ahari had fallen into a downward spiral after hearing that his ex-girlfriend had become engaged.

“I think it was a bit of a shock,” the source said.

“It really threw his life into perspective. He’s almost 33 and he’s spent so much of his time focusing on his career he hasn’t left much space for love. I don’t think he’s still hung up on her, I think he just realised how much he wants someone great in his life.”
