Sacred Heart boys take cycling seriously

Sacred Heart College has congratulated one of its pupils, Cullen Hettema, for finishing 20th in the A batch youth boys pool in the second race of the USN Mountain Bike Cup.

The college said this was a fantastic effort from Hettema, a Grade 10 pupil, considering there were more than 400 riders that took part. On top of that, Hettema and two other boys from the college, Mujahied Moses and Michael Lazarus, are planning a cycling fun ride to take place in October.

They are hoping to get many Sacred Heart parents and pupils, the wider Sacred Heart College community and the public involved. If there are any people interested in joining or assisting, they can e-mail petera@sacredheart.co.za to get in touch with the boys.
