The announcement was made by SABC sports programme manager Ruby Kandier at an event at Carlton Centre.
Soccerzone is a review show of live soccer matches which showcases all the midweek and weekend soccer action. It also features interviews with players, coaches and fans, and provides expert analysis of matches.
One of the facets of the new show will be the opportunity for viewers to call in to give their input, and also for viewers to be invited to feature on the show as guests.
Soccerzone will also broadcast live from an outside venue once a month where audiences can ask questions, make comments and provide their analysis.
