JOBURG - Crowds of fans mobbed Alex resident and popular actor Mduduzi Mabaso when etv marked its 16 years of existence at the Imbizo Shisanyama in Thembisa.
Crowds of fans mobbed Alex resident and popular actor Mduduzi Mabaso when e.tv marked its 16 years of existence at the Imbizo Shisanyama in Thembisa.
Known in the popular soapie Rhythm City as ‘Saffocate’, Mabaso was a bombarded with a crowd of fans at the e.tv celebrations. “I am delighted to know I am a much-loved person for my role in the soapie, which sometimes is not nice but nevertheless, fans love it,” said Mabaso of his popularity.
“It is an endorsement of the good work one is doing for the multitude of fans across the country and I am grateful for that. I am humbled and would like to say to fellow South Africans, keep watching for more to come,” he added.
The entire cast of the show thronged the venue of the celebrations which drew large audiences of fans armed with their cellphones who took pictures with their favourite celebrity.
The next stop of the Rhythm City e.tv celebration party is Limpopo at the beginning of November.
