Alexandra’s Black Rose Academy will host Mr & Miss Face of Alex High Schools on Youth Day on 16 June at the Eastbank Hall.
The show will start at 11am and is expected to end at 6pm. CEO of the academy Marks Bernards said they have invited former Mr and Miss Face of Alex High School 2013 Thapelo Mokoena and Nomsa Buthelezi to come and be the head judges on the day.
Bernards said the auditions were now closed and 45 pupil representatives from all high schools in Alexandra have been chosen. “We are inviting everyone to come and enjoy the beauty pageant with us.”
He said those interested to come and perform during the event can make those arrangements with the academy on 079 802 1131 and the closing date is 13 June.
Models on the day will come from Alex High School, KwaBhekilanga Secondary School, Eastbank High School, Realogile High School, Minerva Secondary School, and Sandown High and Waverley High schools in Highlands North, most of these pupils coming from Alex.
