An Alex woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another following a heated argument.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said a Princess Court woman had noticed that her front door was dripping with water.
When she opened it, her neighbour yelled some insults at her and they exchanged nasty words.
Her neighbour then took out a screwdriver and stabbed her in the chest, just below her breasts. They continued fighting and the victim’s boyfriend stepped in and separated the two women. A case of assault with the intention of doing grievous bodily harm was opened with the police.
Her neighbour was then arrested by the police and is due to appear in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court soon.
