Magical moments for two families

Magical Moments, a charity organisation put a smile on two families’ faces in Alexandra with a donation of food parcels.

The organisation’s main aim was to touch the families’ hearts while also filling their stomachs. Elana Friedman, the organisation’s founder and fairy godmother, as she is known to volunteers, said putting a smile on the children’s faces was enough for her.

The organisation donated maize, corned meat, juice, samp, and toiletries among other items. Councillor Shadrack Mkhonto who introduced the organisation to the families said he also helped where he could. Mkhonto is known in the community for helping disadvantaged families.
