Calling on dancers for world stage

JOBURG - Aspiring dancers can join the Shield Do: Dance competition to win a lifetime trip to New York in the United States for the World of Dance Tour later in the year.

Aspiring dancers are invited to enter the Shield Do: Dance competition.

Five lucky contestants will win a trip to the largest Urban Dance competition in the world, the World Of Dance Tour in New York later in the year.

Three of the winners will take part in a World of Dance tour workshop and two spectators will win an all expenses paid trip to see the show.

Local dance legend Dr Malinga, who is also known for his incredible singing talent and his wild high leg kicks, as well as B-Boy LAB* A and dance-diva, Lorcia Cooper have been selected as ambassadors for the competition. They will guide aspiring urban and street-style dancers, as well as the fans, every step of the way through the competition.

The Shield Do: Dance Roadshows will take place countrywide from 3 September until 30 November.
