Top SA artists collaborate for the Warm Winter Musiekfees at Sun City
Some of South Africa’s best loved artists collaborate for a sizzling music spectacular, the Warm Winter Musiekfees, at Sun City’s new events venue, Sun Park on Sunday 29 May 2016 – ending the May entertainment calendar on a high note. Amongst the artists and bands on the bill for the music festival are Bobby van Jaarsveld; Die Heuwels Fantasties; ADAM; Marno van der Merwe; Pieter Smith; Jannie Moolman; Dozi; Pieter Koen and Talana Vuuren.
With a decidedly and authentically South African feel, the Warm Winter Musiekfees is produced and staged by Sun City and MPM (Musiek Profile Management) and will showcase the diversity and energy of the country’s very best Afrikaans pop and rock entertainers. Revelers will be treated to an afternoon of superlative entertainment, a vibrant beer garden and traditional Afrikaans food fare. The festival will commence from 12h00 and conclude at around 18h00.
Amongst the highlights of the music festival is the 90 minute show, Tripel3, featuring Dozi, Pieter Smith and Jannie Moolman, which combines their most memorable songs and covers of other well known hits. They perform solo and as a trio in a toe tapping medley of Afrikaans, English and Zulu songs.
Dozi also brings to life the sing along songs of the evergreen band, Credence Clearwater Revival, in his special tribute show. This is followed by energetic performances by van Jaarsveld; Die Heuwels Fantasties; Marno van der Merwe; Pieter Koen and ADAM. In between, there is a variety of solo artists bringing their special blend of music to the festival.
