ALEXANDRA – Blocked drain leads to a victim's assault and dousing with urine.

Alex police are investigating two female suspects who are sisters for allegedly assaulting and pouring urine on a neighbour’s face.

The incident occurred at about midday on 26 March at their 13th Avenue home. Police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the victim was cleaning her place when she confronted one of the suspects for instructing another male neighbour to pour dirty water into an already blocked drain.

As a result, the suspect insulted the victim and was joined by her female friend. They ganged up against the victim and dragged her across a stoep. The younger sister took a bucket of urine and poured the contents onto the victim’s face as she lay there writhing in pain while they assaulted her. She sustained multiple abrasions all over the body which required treatment.
