We asked residents if they think officials should face charges for their role in the State capture saga. Here is what they had to say …

Daniel Bokke: I'm not South African, but I've noticed that this country is not like it was when I first came here in 2008. It's changed for the worse [because of scandals such as the State of Capture report] and that means that everyday people are suffering more.

Tyrone Dewitt: Most definitely. There's been a lot of speculation over how true the report is and that has been going on for years. I believe that [the officials] should have their day in court, and if they are found to be corrupt they should go to jail.
