The Forbes recognised platform, She Leads Africa (SLA), brings their flagship programme, #SheHive to Johannesburg from 3 to 6 November, after hosting successful #SheHives in London, New York, Lagos, Nairobi, Abuja and Accra.

She LeadsAfrica is a digital media and events platform focused on smart and ambitious young African women. Their two main goals are empowering women of African descent around the world with innovative and creative content and working with brands that want to connect with these women.

Since launching in 2014, the platform has grown its community to over 200 000 women across the continent and the diaspora and has been featured on BBC, CNBC Africa, CNN, Forbes, Black Enterprise and Huffington Post, to mention a few.
They’re heading to South Africa for the first time to host their flagship travelling training programme, the #SheHive, where they expect 100 young upwardly mobile, well-travelled and digitally engaged young women to attend.

The event will include a number of influential speakers:

  • Irene Charnley chief executive officer, Smile Group
  • Nomsa Daniels CEO, The Graça Machel Trust
  • Sibonile Dube, director at Unilever South Africa
  • Yasmin Belo-Osagie of SheLeads Africa said SLA is a community that helps young African women achieve their professional and entrepreneurial dreams.

“Get your tickets now to avoid missing out on a series of expert-led workshops and networking opportunities for #BossLadies who are trying to make moves and hit it big,” he said.
