Jaziel Brothers celebrate 10 years in the music industry

JOBURG – 10 years in the music industry and still going strong

The Jaziel Brothers, Johannesburg-based multi award-winning, platinum-selling musicians, producers and songwriters, are celebrating 10 years in the music industry this year and are marking the celebration with the release of a beautiful, powerful new single titled, Ndinike Indawo (Give me a place).

The talented duo, Luthando and Ntobeko Jaziel, affectionately known as the Jaziel Brothers, took the music industry by storm as musicians in 2006, and over the past 10 years have created some of South Africa’s greatest classics – not only from their own catalogue, which has earned them numerous South African Music Awards (Samas) and Metro FM Music Awards (MMAs), but for work done for other artists such as Nathi on his album Buyelekhaya which included hit singles such as Nomvula, Jub Jub’s Ndikhokhele, Oliver Mtukudzi’s Ma Africa, Big Nuz’s Do you Still Remember, Dj Cndo’s I Didn’t Mean It, Kelly Khumalo’s iLobolo and Mandoza’s Love, to mention just a few.

The Jaziel Brothers’ key to success and staying relevant in the music industry 10 years on lies with their passion for music and development of other artists. “It’s humbling to be doing what we love 10 years on and to celebrate this journey, not only for our own achievements but for the success other artists have achieved from the work we have done with them.

“Fellow musicians, members of the media and fans have been truly supportive of us throughout our 10-year journey and we are truly grateful. We look forward to continually sharing our music with the country and the rest of the continent.”
