Full Moon Night Market
There will be a full moon on a Saturday night and Arts on Main aims to time the alignment of the planets perfectly to bring market-lovers the Full Moon Night Market – and it’s going to be a big one. The popular market venue has invited some of their favourite food vendors, there will be copious amounts of cocktails, the happiest of tunes, illuminated skies and all the lunacy that will no doubt follow. Free from My Happiness
Free from My Happiness is an exhibition showcasing the work of three young South African photographers: Sibusiso Bheka, Tshepiso Mazibuko and Lindokuhle Sobekwa. Johannesburg Art Gallery exhibits the show which centres around three different bodies of work that use photography to tell the gritty stories of everyday life in this township. This exhibition can be viewed for free during normal gallery hours until 14 August.
