Halala DJ Arch Junior Halala

ALEXANDRA - After winning a gold buzzer that took him from auditions straight to the semifinals, DJ Arch Junior has done it again.

He has spun his way into the hearts of millions of South Africans that overwhelmingly voted for him, sending the talented youngster into the finals of SA’s Got Talent competition.

Since he sprang to fame last December after his father posted a video of him spinning tunes on his decks, which immediately went viral, DJ Arch Junior has won the hearts of the world.

He has found sponsorship from as far afield as Germany and captivated Americans, Australians, and closer to home in Botswana, where he amazed music lovers when he was invited to DJ at some party.

With him now in the finals, anything can happen and I can see him taking everyone by surprise and storming the finals to grab the grand prize of R500 000 that is on offer.

Once that happens, everything else will automatically fall into place and he will be a sought-after commodity, not just nationally but internationally, by companies wanting to elevate their brands to a higher level.

I can foresee big name brands queuing for kilometres on end wanting to persuade the kid to sign on the dotted line to agree to be their ambassador in exchange for unbelievable sums of money and other offerings.

If his parents are astute enough, they will sign deals on behalf of this youngster that will set him up for life and which will ensure the best quality education that any child can ever get on dear earth.

He should be made to understand that he needs to chase his education with the same vigour that he spins the tunes to the merriment of millions, so that if that ultimately does not work for him, he has something to fall back on, his education.

DJ Arch Junior has already earned his stripes and he deserves nothing short of the best of the best, especially for his education. I don’t know of any child at his age who has worked and earned his own upkeep to the tune of R500 000, which I believe is a foregone conclusion.

Come next Sunday, 6 November, at the Soweto Theatre, everybody will be singing his praise and saying: halala DJ Arch Junior halala.
