The four suspects who were arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a child at the Pan African Mall Taxi Rank in Alexandra recently, appeared in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court on 20 July.
The four, believed to be in their early 70s, are in custody and all face a charge of murder and two charges of attempted murder.
The attempted murder charges arise from two other victims who were shot and wounded.
The victims are currently recovering in hospital in Edenvale, along with one of the suspects who was injured in the shooting. He is under police guard.
The case has been postponed to 27 July to allow for further investigations.
