Customers sickened by Eskom’s load shedding

JOBURG – Some Eskom customers have vented their anger as load shedding has become a daily occurrence.

This as Eskom announced to move from Stage 1 load shedding from 4pm and move to Stage 2 from 5pm on 19 May.

The company’s Twitter handle, Eskom Hld SOC Ltd @Eskom_SA stated, “Eskom regrets to announce that Stage 1 load_shedding will be implemented from 4pm to 5pm.” However, five minutes later Eskom tweeted, “Please note that Stage 2 load_shedding will be implemented from 5pm until 10pm. Eskom sincerely apologises for the inconvenience.”

Johann Biermann ?@JohannBiermann1 @Eskom_SA just said, “useless”.

Hendrik de Vos ?@devosh007 @Eskom_SA was more political and said, “Proudly brought to you by the ANC.” Wehann Du Toit ?@WehannT @Eskom_SA stated, “So when are you going to change to stage 3. Why implement stage 1 as we all knew its changing to stage 2. Go straight to stage 2, less confusing for everyone.”

Eskom thanked its customers for their support in using electricity sparingly during this constrained and vulnerable period.
