Mother stumbles on man raping her 13-year-old daughter
ALEXANDRA - A worried mother went from friend to friend in search of her missing 13-year-old daughter, only to stumble and catch a man in the act of raping her.
An Alexandra mother stumbled upon her 13-year-old daughter being raped.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said a 19th Avenue woman was frustrated when she could not find her daughter anywhere. She went to all her friends, the last of which gave her an address in 20th Avenue and said she will find her daughter there.
The mother went to the address, knocked on the door and a voice from inside the house enquired as to who was at the door. She pushed the door open and to her horror discovered a naked man raping her daughter. Upon seeing the mother the man quickly got dressed.
The mother asked her daughter what was happening and she replied that the man had forced her to have sex with him. The mother called the police who arrested the suspect.
He is due to appear in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court soon on a charge of rape.
