30 Seconds to Mars postponed

JOBURG - Local fans of American rock group 30 Seconds to Mars will have to wait a little longer to see Jared Leto and the boys in concert.

The South African tour planned for June has been postponed until November this year, due to medical reasons.

Speaking on behalf of Big Concerts, Dionne Domyan-Mudie said the band will perform at Joburg’s Coca-Cola Dome on 21 November and at Cape Town’s Grand Arena on 23 November.

The band was originally scheduled to play in Cape Town on 13 June and in Joburg on 16 June.

“The reason for this last minute change is a private medical issue. We send our best wishes to the band for a speedy recovery,” said Domyan-Mudie.

“All purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates in November, and in accordance with our terms and conditions, you may cancel or exchange your tickets up until one month before the rescheduled shows.”

She added that Big Concerts management hoped the postponement would not inconvenience fans, and hoped they have fantastic concerts later this year.
