Carling Knockout kicks off this coming weekend

Defending champions Stellenbosch will kick off the knockout games against struggling AmaZulu at the King Zwelithini Stadium.

The rising force of South African football, Stellenbosch, will kick off the defence of its first-ever and inaugural trophy, the Carling Knockout, which it won last season in the bedrock of a five-year-old campaign in the premiership football, with a clash against AmaZulu at the King Zwelithini Stadium on October 18.

The matches are set to take place over the weekend of October 18–20, with the matches scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tickets will be available at TicketPro outlets nationwide.
October 19 will feature four fixtures, beginning at 15:00 with Orlando Pirates hosting Magesi FC at Orlando Stadium, and Cape Town City taking on Royal AM at Athlone Stadium. The action continues in the evening, with Mamelodi Sundowns facing Lamontville Golden Arrows at Lucas ‘Masterpieces’ Moripe Stadium at 18:00, followed by Polokwane City versus Marumo Gallants at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at 20:00.

On October 20, TS Galaxy FC will play Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium, while SuperSport United meets Kaizer Chiefs at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, with both matches set to kick off at 15:00. The round of 16 will conclude with Richards Bay FC going up against Sekhukhune United at King Zwelithini Stadium at 17:30.
