Alex’s Rayzar seeks agent to elevate content creation career

A multifaceted talent from Alexandra Aubrey Thomas (22), known as Rayzar, is on the hunt for an agent to help him take his career to the next level, displaying his acting, music, and creative content skills.

“I believe having an agent will boost my career to the next level. I’m a hard worker, goal-driven, and committed to my craft,” he said.

Raised in Alexandra and furthering his studies in the Eastern Cape, Rayzar said he discovered his passion for performing arts while doing grade 10 at Ramafole Secondary School in 2019.

“I figured out that I am capable of acting, doing monologues, dancing, and making music,” Rayzar said, revealing multifaceted nature of his talent.

Rayzar said the skill and ability of content creativity is what pushes him to pursue acting, even though he has always been good in arts and culture since his primary school years.

Family support has been a cornerstone of Rayzar’s journey. “I think I am who I am and where I am today because of my mother’s love and support. That woman has been with me through thick and thin. She has played a very crucial role in nurturing not only my ambitions but also my emotional well-being,” Rayzar said.

Rayzar’s collaborations with the 2K Vaccine Film and his younger brother, Lesego Mapholo, have already begun to carve a niche for him in the industry, including projects such as advertisements for Chillers Punch and Perfume.

With over 101 600 followers on TikTok, the duo’s commitment to content creativity has caught the attention of an expanding audience.

Despite his impressive portfolio, Rayzar said he faces significant challenges, including a lack of proper equipment and transportation issues, and disappointment from those he has trusted. “Improvising has become part of my routine,” he said.

Rayzar said his family remains steadfast in their support, consistently encouraging him to stay focused on his goals.

“My family provides not just emotional backing but also essential resources, guiding me on maintaining safety in high-risk areas while pursuing entertainment gigs.

“I believe that practice makes perfect,” Rayzar shares, recounting his frequent visits to Alexandra Theatre to refine his skills.

Rayzar is searching for a talented and driven agent who recognizes his potential. In addition to pursuing acting, Rayzar aims to explore opportunities in advertisements and film while launching his brand, Mf2 Murn.

He envisions a career that empowers his audience, encouraging them to pursue their dreams without fear. “I want my audiences to feel confident and passionate because of the positivity I display.”
