EugeniousSA visits Carter Primary School

EugeniousSA inspires Carter Primary School learners with a message of resilience and hope through his music.

A buzz of excitement filled the air as learners from Carter Primary School gathered to meet with the local hip-hop hero Eugen Selemela who goes by the name EugeniousSA in the music industry.

The musician visited the school to promote his upcoming album Life of a Struggle and to spread the healing message it contains. The album is a collection of songs that explore the challenges and triumphs of life in the townships and it aims to empower and motivate the youth to navigate their struggles.

EugeniousSA spoke to the learners about his own experiences growing up in the township and how he used music as a way to channel his emotions and express himself.

“You can do anything you set your mind to, do not let anyone tell you otherwise,” said EugeniousSA.

He also talked about the importance of education and hard work. He shared his journey of overcoming adversity and achieving his goals and encouraged the children to follow their dreams and never give up.

“I want to spread a message of hope and resilience to the youth and to show them that they can achieve anything they set their minds to. I believe that we can all make a difference in our communities and it starts with each one of us taking responsibility for our actions and own lives.

“It’s not always easy but it’s worth it. I want to encourage everyone, especially the youth, to never give up on their dreams no matter the circumstances.”

The learners were inspired by the musician’s message and many said they were excited to listen to his album and learn more about his story.

There were also other local artists performing their songs on stage including The Mbalz ft Prutwerk, Action V ft Ruff G and the group Bastarata.
