Dr Knak honours its sporting achievers
Dr Knak Primary School basks in the glory of a golden sporting year in the school's recent history.
Dr Knak Primary School has honoured its sporting heroes and heroines who carried the name of the school high in various sporting events throughout the year.
The sporting achievers were honoured simultaneously with their counterparts who excelled in the academic year at a ceremony on November 10 at the school.
Among the best achievers was the boys’ team which won gold in the recent Discovery Alex U12 Schools League which was held at the Altrek Sports Facility on November 1. They got the better of their perennial nemesis Iphutheng Primary School by a solitary goal early in the first half of the game from the boot of talented striker Jason Kekana.
Other sporting heroes and heroines were also honoured to crown a golden year of sporting engagements for the school that is now basking in the glory of what has been described as one of the best sporting years for the school.
