Siphosethu Arts crowns aspiring queens and kings
Founder of the Sipho Sethu Arts Projects, Nomsa Motha, says she has a vision and desire to change the circumstances of the Alex child for the better.
The Sipho Sethu Arts Projects, which was established in 2018 with various projects in mind to empower the youth of Alexandra, recently held various beauty competitions for juniors, teens, and seniors’ competitions, that involved both boys and girls and also included the LGBTQIA+ community.
The pageants were held in Marlboro on October 28 with various sponsors whom Sipho Sethu founder Nomsa Motha lauded for coming to the party and described as ‘big-hearted’, including organisers of the event and mentors to children who were involved in pageants for the first time.
Besides the Mr and Miss Sipho Sethu Arts Projects, Motha said the organisation was also involved in other projects such as the Imfundo Programme, Igniting Stars Mentorship Programme, Alex Arts Festival, and the Mental Wellness Programme.
