Massive Movement set to make waves with EP

Amapiano artists behind Massive Movement in Alexandra have launched an EP which will also introduce other featured artists to the industry.

Amapiano lovers in Alexandra can now look forward to new music coming from their very own Massive Movement.

Massive Movement launched the EP and introduced the artists behind the Massive Movement brand. The artists that are featured on the EP include artists like The Gado (Katlego Selibi), Bravo Gustavo (Siyabonga Mwanda), Josta P (Khanyile Khohlani), Small Keys, Siyabonga Khuzwayo, Scary Fellow and Must end DJ.

Brenda Selibi, manager of the artists, said; “An introduction had to be done you know. With good music for the launch, and live performances to give to the neighbourhood, most of all, it’s good to be an example in your community.

“Where there are so many social challenges and the least that one can do, is bring hope to peers and change the status quo using music as the interpreter,” Selibi said.

“The artists recognise that everyone has to start somewhere and are hoping to receive much-needed support and attention from their community in order to increase their popularity and limelight in the world,” she added.

The Gado, one of the artists, said that charity begins at home. “One starts with your family first, then your neighbours, the community and then the nation.” With such learnings, one is also able to gauge growth, failures, and other aspects of life.

According to The Gado, the event was quite an experience for him and he was hoping that they’d host events like this one more often.

Since the event went better than they had anticipated, Selibi said they will be hosting these events more regularly as they really help in fan base engagement. She said they received several reviews and messages of support which were much appreciated.
