New date for it’s back to playtime for Alex adults

April 15 is the new date for those adults that want to rekindle play memories with Izikolam Projects and Production's Nomveliso Mthini but the event remains at the Totalsports Alex SafeHub.

There is a new activity for adult members of the community in Alexandra who may have felt they never got the opportunity to play as children when they were growing up.

These people will be able to participate in the Sports Outing Day on April 15 at the Totalsports Alex SafeHub behind the Alexandra High School.

The event’s founder and organiser, Alex creative Nomveliso Mthini of Izikolam Projects and Production, said the day would be for people aged 35 and above.

“They will have the opportunity to play some of the indigenous games on offer and also network with their peers at the same time in a relaxed atmosphere that will not be demanding as the traditional networking sessions where they have to produce certain demanding outcomes.”This is much of a community social outing. This could also play a therapeutic role for the participants.

”I, therefore, urge all and sundry, especially those who never had time to play, or did not play enough as children, to join us on the day for fun, games and other activities,” Mthini told Alex News.

The sessions will also include soccer, aerobics and yoga. A dietician and social worker will also be present.

Details: Nomveliso Mthini 078 275 8368.
