Gomora Carnival comes to Alexandra
Alexandra will soon have its own carnival, the Gomora Carnival, the first of its kind that will be staged at the KwaBhekilanga Sports Ground on March 10 to 12.
A first-of-its-kind event to hit the streets of Alexandra, the Gomora Carnival, is scheduled to take place from March 10 to 12 at the KwaBhekilanga Sports Ground.
The carnival is a community-focused event that will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Alexandra and promises to be a memorable occasion. There is an array of activities lined up, including music performances, cultural exhibitions, food stalls and carnival rides, said organisers Martha Morudu and Kabelo Kunene.
“We are expecting a large turnout, and we believe that your newspaper can play a major role in reaching people and spreading the word to a broader audience to ensure the success of this inaugural event,” Morudu told Alex News.
“As an esteemed newspaper, we value your readership, and we are confident that your audience would be interested in learning more about the Gomora Carnival,” Kunene added.
